Leon Jimenez is self taught and created his distinct style of photorealistic pencil renderings with bold acrylic accent colors in the late 80's. His biggest influences are Georgia O'Keeffe and Hollywood glamor photographer George Hurrell. His drawing "Monroe on Phone" is featured in the book "Marilyn in Art". His original Frank Thomas drawing (of which no print exist) is owned by the future MLB Hall of Famer himself. His work has been featured in several galleries and art exhibits. His art has been sold in over 30 countries around the world.
